Died at his late residence in Russell Township of la grippe, Mr. Daniel Evans in the 69th year of his age. Deceased was one of the wealthy and prominent citizens of North Putnam. His wife and two children survive to mourn the loss of husband and father.

Mrs. W. H. Durham today received a telegram announcing the death at Russellville, of her brother, Daniel Evans. Mr. Evans was one of the most prominent men of Putnam County and has hosts of friends and acquaintances in this city who will be pained to learn of his death.
